I gave each “ingredient” a number, and I chose 6 colours and gave them a number too.
Then, as we asked each other the model phrase and question of the day, I let them roll the dice. When a student successfully answered the question, I let them roll to find out the colour. When they asked someone else the same question, I let that person answer and then roll the die to choose the shape. The first number corresponding to a shape, and the next roll corresponding to a colour.
